The “Taiwan KOM Challenge” Warm-up Challenge allows participants to experience a 9-hour ride and appreciate wonderful views on the same route of the Taiwan KOM Challenge in advance! Both domestic and foreign cyclists aged over 16 are welcome to participate in the event. The total number of participants is limited to 300 per event.

To market the furthest lighthouses in East, West, Southern, and Northern Taiwan, participants can bring the event brochure and join theme activities held by North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area Administration during summer vacation (tentatively set as July 30) and plan their own trip. 2016 East Rift Valley Biking Carnival – Let’s Go Picnic is a low-carbon journey that combines two means of transportation: railway and bicycle. With a voluntary tour guide, participants can get an in-depth understanding of local cultures and customs and have fun with a stamp-collection activity, concerts, and special meals.
